Louis Michael
I got into this line of work after seeing first-hand how much sport can take out of people: injuries, setbacks, and time away from doing what they enjoy. I wanted to be in a position where I could help speed that process up and get people back to full fitness as quickly and safely as possible.
What I enjoy most is the challenge of working through each individual’s issue figuring out what’s actually going on, treating the root cause, and putting a plan in place that gets real results. No two people are the same, and that’s what keeps it interesting.
I’ve had the opportunity to work with athletes across different levels, including as a physiotherapist for Ely Tigers Rugby and the Cambridge University Rugby League team, as well as supporting county-level rugby for both male and female players. Athletes are my favourite people to work with, they’re driven, they want to improve, and they’re willing to put the work in, which makes a big difference in recovery and performance.
Alongside this, I also work with a wide range of clients from active individuals to those just looking to move without pain. Helping them improve mobility, reduce discomfort, and feel more confident in their bodies.
I hold a First-Class degree in Physiotherapy from the University of East Anglia, supported by additional qualifications that allow me to take a hands-on, well-rounded approach to treatment.
Whether you’re dealing with an injury, ongoing pain, or just not feeling 100%, I’m here to help you get back to where you want to be.
